Math and Latin Tutoring Math and Latin Tutoring
Math and Latin Tutoring will be available on Monday mornings at the Ashland Avenue campus beginning Monday, Dec. 7. Tutoring will be available for Kindergarten Rod and Staff Mathematics through Calculus and all Latin classes for any student enrolled at LLS. Faculty tutors will be Mrs. Deanna Cooper, Mrs. Shannon McElfresh, Mr. Mike Armstrong, Mr. Cody King, and Mr. Art Mize. In addition to our faculty tutors, peer tutors will also be available.
What: LLS Math and Latin Tutoring
When: Mondays when school is in session beginning Dec. 7
Where: Ashland Avenue Baptist Church
Who: Any LLS student
How: To request peer or faculty tutoring please email [email protected] or [email protected] by the Saturday prior to the
Monday morning session that your student would like to attend. All tutoring is by appointment only.
Please include in your request:
the type of tutoring you are requesting (peer, individual faculty
or group faculty)
please note: students/parents must find their own "groups"
a 1st and 2nd choice of times (we will make every effort to
accommodate)
a brief description of your child's needs
Confirmation will be emailed back to the student by Sunday
evening at 8pm.
Cost: Faculty Tutoring
Peer Tutoring - free
individual - $25 per hour
group of 2 students - $15 per hour per student
group of 3 students - $10 per hour per student
These will be 30 minute individual sessions with some of our
own LLS Upper School Students.
Payment in the form of check payable to Lexington Latin School is
due at time of tutoring session
